Phoenix, AZ - InstantHandz, a Phoenix-based technology company, announces expansion into the greater Phoenix, Tucson, and Yuma markets. Founded with the goal of bringing neighbors together to help one another with small jobs in-and-around the home, the InstantHandz app was created with a core belief of doing social good for millions of families who need help. What makes InstantHandz unique? Neighbors receive help from hardworking Veterans, Active- Duty Members of the Military, and their families.
Sam Celaya, Founder & CEO of InstantHandz, said “We have a dual mission at InstantHandz. Our platform helps active-duty members of the military, veterans, and their families earn extra income by doing side jobs. Through this initiative, we are also helping to integrate servicemen and women into their local communities. For the customer side of the network, we can offer affordable and reliable alternatives. InstantHandz is a perfect solution for customers who may be living paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford to pay contractor rates yet still need a helping hand.”
Since launching in November 2019, InstantHandz began serving West Valley neighborhoods in and around Luke AFB. Today, you’ll see many enlisted Airmen, Veterans, and their family members available to help their local neighbors on the InstantHandz app. “The community response has been amazing; all you have to do is look at the customer reviews in the app,” said Celaya. “Very professional. Arrived as scheduled. Got right to work. Very polite. I will definitely use them again,” review from Bill Adams, Glendale, AZ.
The military discipline comes through in the high-quality work and customer satisfaction. Many Airmen have gained value being listed on InstantHandz. “About three months ago, I saw an ad on base that said ‘Help your neighbors out’,” said Senior Airman Montana McCormick, 56th Force Support Squadron Luke AFB, in a recent interview with Luke AFB Public Affairs. “I signed up and started doing jobs.” McCormick explained the work brought him the rewarding feeling of helping those in need while also enabling him to earn extra money.
InstantHandz was founded by the son of a Vietnam Veteran and its entire Operations team is comprised of family of Veterans, Combat Veterans, Reservists, and Active-Duty spouses. “We’ve stood behind our commitment to helping families who have sacrificed so much for our country and for families in need of a helping hand,” said Adam Evans, InstantHandz Chief Strategy Officer. “I’m the son of a retired Air Force Colonel and I’m also the spouse of an Air Force officer. Growing up in an Air Force family I recognize that our InstantHandz mission complements the Air Force core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do. We will take our mission and execute it across U.S. Military bases and communities worldwide.” InstantHandz is currently working with Hiring Our Heroes, a U.S. Chamber of Commerce backed non-profit, as well as The Wounded Warrior Project to employ veterans and transition active-duty servicemen and women into the business world. In a few short months, InstantHandz has helped Military families earn nearly $60,000 of additional income. InstantHandz recently received a plaque of commemoration from the Luke AFB Spouses Club for assisting with the transition and renovation of the Luke Airman’s Attic thrift shop.
InstantHandz is on a mission to help families across the world and is focused on expanding in a smart and thoughtful manner. Keep an eye out for InstantHandz coming to your neighborhood soon.
